30 million Americans with kidney disease: Action is needed now
Tell Congress to Act to Fund Kidney Disease Research and Programs!
You may have heard that the latest data coming from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Chronic Kidney Disease Surveillance Project shows the number of Americans affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD) is higher than previously estimated. One in seven American adults, or 30 million people, are now estimated to have CKD, but most of them don’t know they have it. We can’t let this go on any longer.
There is action Congress can take to support funding for research and programs that generate awareness and promote improved access to treatment for CKD. Please tweet your Members of Congress now to tell them how important it is that they dedicate funding to CKD research and programs!
